Storyboard, currently only available for
Android, is an "appsperiment" by Google Research Labs. Quite simply,
it takes a video that you have previously recorded and turns it into a comic
book-style storyboard, complete with different art styles, colours and custom
frames. All this is done really fast & automatically, using research
technology that runs on the device itself (so there's no uploading of files or
waiting involved).We tried it with a 500MB video file and it took less than 20
seconds. Although there's no control, you can keep pulling down on the storyboard
to change styles/colours until you see something you like. Then, go ahead and
share it through the app itself, without any watermarks or restrictions.
