As per the guidelines

·         A PhD scholar must store the thesis in a CD and upload each chapter in a separate pdf file using the resolution as suggested by Shodhganga.

·         The format of the thesis will be serial-numbered 01-title, 02-contents etc.

·         The supervisor or head of department will endorse the CD submitted by the researcher to confirm that the soft copy and exact replica of the print version accepted for award of PhD and a letter of the effect will be issued by the corresponding department at the time of submission.

·         The thesis will be checked by the supervisor for plagiarism and accordingly certificate its originality.

·         PU's Joshi Library will issue the certificate of plagiarism check.

·        
Moreover, the chairman of the department will have to certify that no alteration has been submitted during the viva and on the basis of this commendation deputy registrar will validate the CD.

·         Of some rectifications are found, then the reviewed CD will have to be submitted instantly by the researcher, otherwise the degree will not be awarded.

·         Degree to the candidate will be awarded only after deputy registrar verifies that CD of the thesis to be uploaded on Shodhganga has been submitted by the student.

·         Finally the candidate will be required to give non-exclusive rights in the specified format to the archive and distribute their work through Shodhganga as well as through PU's IR in full text at the time of submission.
