Cyber-crime is also trending in today’s digital world, and they had
started a new way to make a fraud. They will present them as an executive from
e-wallet Paytm.
They will ask the user to update their KYC and ask you to share
the details of your e-wallet account so that they can withdraw the money from
the e-wallet account.
Most of the time, the call for KYC will come from Jamtara in
Jharkhand, known as the hub for such activities.
The spokespersons from the Paytm had clarified that they do not
call their customers to do KYC via phone, or even they never ask the user to
install any new app to complete KYC.
It is a kind request to one and all, and please make sure while
using such type of apps for money transaction.
