Data Science?
We were collecting tons of data but
not using it well!!!
Sachin
Sinha's interest in data science was piqued while he was working as a senior
product manager at Microsoft, and when he moved to Amazon, he realized how much
data was being collected every day.“Data was increasing every day, but we
couldn't extract information from it properly. We were heavily reliant on human
operations,“ says the IIT-Kanpur alumnus. So, in 2012, he started work on a
research platform, IQLECT, to gather real-time data for developers. Within a
year, he'd had 30,000 downloads without doing any marketing. In 2015, he
decided to quit as CTO of Limeroad and focus entirely on IQLECT as a data
analytics platform. He's got $3 million in funding from Exfinity Ventures, and
IQLECT works with small enterprises in India. Sachin is looking to shift to the
US in the next three months and go global.
