Robots are not killing our jobs, says World Bank

The top bank believes that going forward, demand for advanced cognitive skills, socio-behavioral skills, and skill combinations will rise.

  • World Bank said that technology is eliminating many low-skilled jobs.
  • World Bank also said that technology is paving way for new and altered jobs.


Robots taking away the jobs of humans has been the biggest concern of the 21st century. Time and again, reports and statistics have talked about the pace of how robots were replacing human workers in the industries. But now a new report by the World Bank has shed some light in this regard and reaffirmed that the future is not so bleak after all.
