Setting an
example with home libraries
TIRUVANNAMALAI
: In an age when reading habits among students are on the decline, a government
school in Tiruvannamalai district is showing the way on instilling love for
books among children .The high school located in Keezhpalur village in Kalasapakkam
taluk has about 297 students from class six to tenth . Thanks to the effort of
the school headmaster S Meenakshi Sundaram 50 , all the students managed to set
up an individual library at their homes . Roughly more than 12000 books are
available at the students library collection .
