With an aim to keep students and parents updated about the necessary details regarding the conduct of the examinations and the evaluation process, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched a podcast app named ‘Shiksha Vani’.
The board has come up with the podcast facility to provide authentic and latest information and guidelines of the board on academic and training initiatives, examinations and other important areas and procedures. The app is available on play store for android phone users. The members registered on the app will instantly receive the audio or video informationfiles on their cell phones as soon as uploaded by the Board.
The Shiksha Vani app has separate sections for students, parents, teachers and principals.There is a tab named recent, which will contain the latest audio announcement clips in chronological order.
Both audio and video contents are easily accessible to all the registered users. The app, as of now, can be accessed by the registered users, such as CBSE students, teachers, officials, parents etc.
The first audio podcast released recently stated the evaluation process for the class X and XII board.The idea to introduce the podcast app was formulated to keep in line with the board’s zero-error policy for evaluation of answer scripts of board exams .
