#BYL Nair Hospital to be the first hospital to have virtual post-mortem

Hi-tech diagnostic CT scanners with 3D imaging will be used to scan the body to help identify minute fractures and blood clots, which are invisible to the naked eye. “Usually it takes one or two hours for a post mortem, but with this technology, it will be done in 30 minutes. This will not only help provide more accurate analysis, but also faster reports and ease the burden on forensic experts,”
