How To Make Schools Compete
In
April, the HRD ministry took the brave step to stop undue `moderation' of marks
in all secondary school board examinations in the country . This willingness to
face the truth, howsoever ugly it may prove, is rare in education policy making
circles, but is a crucial first step in the reform of school education.
