Say it with VIDEOS

Video editing apps have allowed us to create catchy motion pictures without being a geek. Here is a list of four apps that we regularly use

VIDEOSHOW

It is one of the most popular video making and editing apps on both Android and iOS platforms. You can edit an existing video or create your own video using images, add your music, texts, FX effects, turn them into GIFs, add multiple music or even live dub! You don’t need to be a professional to edit, merge, trim, split, zoom in or reverse your videos or add doodles on VideoShow. It also allows voice enhancement and audio speed adjustment features.

FILMORAGO

This is a pretty handy video editing app to turn your Facebook, Instagram and gallery images and videos into a catchy new video. You can pick a theme, add your favourite music, filters and titles and share the new clip instantly on social media or mail and message it to family or friends. You can mix photo and video clips, play video in reverse, slowdown or speed and create multiple slow or fast motions in the same clip. FilmoraGo also lets you trim the video and rotate the frame.

INSHOT

This app doesn’t blur the background or crop the frame. Probably that explains its popularity over other video editing apps. We love it for the ease of trimming videos, adding text to photos or videos and compressing videos to reduce the size for faster uploads. InShot Video Editor also supports Go-Pro videos and allows you to edit and make almost professional videos on the go.

ADOBE PREMIERE CLIP

Simply choose the images and soundtrack, drag and drop photos, audio and video clips, trim the part you don’t want and your video is ready! You can also polish your clips with lighting adjustments, smooth audio levels in the clip and apply custom colours. Adobe Premiere Clip is a handy app to add life to your static images more than editing existing videos.

  1. CutStory is a video editing app for Instagram stories. It makes it easy to chop a longer video up into the required length for Instagram Stories (15 seconds maximum per clip). This way, you can repurpose longer videos—from your brand’s YouTube library, for example—and create more robust content without having to continually stop and start the camera.
