Apps - Jotting Down Class Notes
Most of us spend our classes vigorously jotting down notes, in order to not miss anything important. This is tiring. There are quite a few apps to help us move away from this mundane task.
AudioNote LITE
This app lets you take notes as well as record audio, which are synced for the best output. AudioNote LITE also catalogues lectures and study sessions spontaneously. As it records audio apart from letting you take notes, there will be no fear of you missing out on any important detail from your lectures. It also links to the exact time a note was taken so that you do not have to spend valuable time searching for drafts. Photos, drawings and highlighted notes can also be added. Cogi
There are some lectures where a break might occur, or it might drag on. Cogi is the perfect solution if you have faced these situations. It records only important parts of the classes, which you can define, and also allows you to add hashtags, notes and photos to improve the quality of your drafts. Cogi also lets you review all the notes on your tablet or computer, and they can be saved to a Cogi Cloud in case your device lacks space. These notes can be shared with friends. The app allows you to record phone calls, in case a classmate is reading his or her notes out to you, during a call. (https://bit.ly/1p7TAt0 )
Parrot
This app helps you record lectures in high definition, with three mere taps. The sound wave graph lets you know if the sound levels are perfect for recording and what needs to be adjusted to fix if anything is wrong. There is a calendar option which allows you to find the right time when each recording took place. Parrot also allows the recordings to be shared with friends. The app lets you work in the background while recording the lectures. The paid version enables you to record phone calls, save recordings to Google Drive, and schedule a recording so that it begins automatically without any intervention from you.
