Facebook @ Digital Literacy Library
Their main intention to Help Youth Build Skills Online.
Facebook has announced the launch of a Digital Literacy Library to help young people build the skills they need to safely enjoy online technology. This makes the interactive lessons and videos, developed in partnership with the Youth and Media team to be downloaded free.
There are 830 million young people online around the world, and this library is a resource for educators looking to address digital literacy and help these young people build the skills they need to safely enjoy digital technology.
At present, it is available in only English language. But Facebook has plans to launch it in further 18 languages soon. It is also working with other non-profit organisations around the world to create new additional new ones for educators globally.
