Sangita Jindal wows little hearts with
her book-reading skills
JSW Foundation
chairperson Sangita Jindal enjoys the many roles she juggles in her personal
and professional life. The one which has her playing grandmother is one of her
favourites though.
That's partly why she spent last Sunday morning surrounded by around 30 children at a bookstore in south Mumbai. She was doing a children's book reading, organised as a part of a week-long annual arts festival held in the city.
That's partly why she spent last Sunday morning surrounded by around 30 children at a bookstore in south Mumbai. She was doing a children's book reading, organised as a part of a week-long annual arts festival held in the city.
Jindal
interacted with the children for about an hour at the event. She first read out
parts of a book and then invited the kids to read out from the books they were
carrying.
She revealed
to one of the organisers that she considers reading to children the best
stress-buster and so, was quite at ease throughout the session. Apparently, the
ample practice she must have, reading to her grandchildren (kids of .daughters
Tarini and Tanvi), makes her quite a pro.
