The impact of Technology on the way we live and working abroad - Survey

Randstad Hellas is a leading HR services company in Greece and each quarter, since 2010, conducts the Workmonitor survey to capture labour market trends locally. The Randstad Workmonitor survey for first quarter 2016 explores the impact of technology, international travel and working abroad as well as the quarterly mobility index, fear of job loss and job satisfaction of Greek employees.

Technology and digitalization plays a major role in jobs today and interestingly as per the survey, majority see an opportunity in this trend. Nearly 89% indicated that they need more training to keep up with technological developments and make them work to their advantage.
"It is vital for organizations to help their employees understand how to strike the right balance between 'tech' and 'touch' at the workplace amidst all the technological innovations that are happening," says Uppaluri. "This balancing act would only be successful if we have clarity on the three most important factors that determine the usage of tech and touch at the workplace, which is audience, scale and type of information that is being disseminated," he adds.
