I
am one of the Resource Person for One Day National Workshop on Intellectual
Property Right, Copyright, Research and Plagiarism organized at Utkarsha
College of Arts, Commerce and Science (I.T.), DLLE & IQAC Department on
24th January 2020.
Another Resource Person for the workshop is Dr. Vilas
Gaikar, Assistant Professor, Department of Economic and Business Economics
Degree College, CHM College Ulhasnagar.
The topic which I was discussed is as follows.
IPR: A Strategy for Application in the Education
Domain
The UGC letter regarding the inclusion of the IPR as
a generic elective subject under the CBSE (Choice Based Credit System) had
already placed in the education domain.
But the awareness of Intellectual Property Rights is
limited to higher education institutions. I.P. awareness should make a part of
the curriculum in schooling. It will ensure that an effort at ingraining I.P.
awareness in the education systems begins at an early stage.
We had an interaction on the following topics
related to IPR and its branches.
