Sir had urged to the LIS
professional that they should speak to the Non Librarian on day to day basis,
with the help of this communication we can get some good conclusion.
As per Kumbhar Sir the current
era is a Golden Era for LIS professional domain due to advancement of
technology in Library & Information Centre. Sir mentioned that in 1987 there is only
typewrite in the library.
No library without computer, No
Library without Internet Connectivity No Library without databases & No
Librarian without IT skills!!!!!
Sir had mentioned that Librarian
is Filter Tool in Information Explosion, sir also mentioned that Personal
skills of librarian will play an important role in today’s era Librarianship.
