Google
redesigns its mobile search app;
The new offering is called
"Google Feed," a name that may conjure comparisons to Facebook's
"News Feed," a feature on Facebook used to browse updates from
friends, family and other sources.
·
The Google mobile app is set to undergo a makeover and include a personalized
feed with links according to the user’s choice
·
Called Google Feed, the feature sounds similar to Facebook’s News Fee
·
Google, however, has said it was not trying to duplicate Facebook’s
feature
·
Facebook and Google are currently jockeying for attention online, and by
extension, for advertising revenue based on those hits
